LAKE HOUSES
The Lake House Village forms part of the Wagenbietjieshoek farmyard-area and consists of 18 sites.
The Village is perfectly located on the expansive grasslands adjacent to the major wetland area at Wagenbietjieshoek. Surrounded by several archeological ruins, this village falls under a vast canopy of Acacia trees, indigenous to the area. The wetland and vegetation abundance makes the birdlife unique to this area in Wagenbietjieshoek. Several dams provide the avid fisherman with an endless selection of ideal fishing spots
The architectural style in this village is synonymous with open plan living where houses truly become an extension of the landscape. Large uninhibited verandahs create a seamless flow between the grasslands and Lake Houses.
